Determining Tail Light Location

Recent question On Determining Tail Light Location motivated the development of this posting.

Chrysler products with multiple taillights on each side of the car can have a confusing code system where it seems the code on one side of the car matches a code on the other side of the car.  If you are standing in a flea market it may be difficult to determine if you are buying the lens you want.

The key is that it takes not only the code to be correct but also it’s orientation on the lens!!

Suggest you study the following example to understand how important it is for you to get a clear picture of the code and orientation before you go shopping; open this picture to get all the detail on the codes and orientation:

If you have a specific need for your make and model feel free to comment and request the code and orientation for the tail light assembly  in need and we will find out from someone who has that exact car (with a lens intact).
