Jan-Feb 2024 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
HAPPY NEW YEAR
As I put together this newsletter, it doesn’t seem like January or winter yet. We have had a few samples of winter but no sustained cold or snow. The winter sports venues are struggling. This weekend might change all that though.
DUES ARE NOW DUE FOR 2024! January through February is the time to send $15 to our treasurer, Bob Cook. Address is on the roster. AREADY PAID are Hopkins, Crook, Ruops, Dunlea, Palmer and Whitman.
Thanks so much to the Palmers for continuing to host our Holiday Club party. It is always a delicious and fun day. We don’t see each other very often any more. During the short meeting we planned the events for the first quarter of 2024.
January – NO MEETING
February – NO MEETING
March 17 – Annual gathering in Hancock, MA – IOKA FARM for brunch at the MAPLE Café.
April 21- Colonial Region 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner – TBD I sincerely hope we can have a good club turnout for this event. Please save the date.
I am trying to get a more detailed treasurers report for the club for the annual review. As of November the club balance was $1306.93. More Regional newsletters are coming shortly.
