It certainly is hard to make plans when the weather is so unpredictable. The hot, humid weather on May 22nd forced us to postpone the meeting at the Woodford, Ct. Volunteer Fire Association. We are looking to reschedule it in the fall. BUT, we have a treat scheduled for Sunday June 26.
The members and guests ( if you wish,) are invited to a picnic at the Palmer’s home in Tolland CT. at noon. (the last Sunday of June). The club will furnish hotdogs and hamburgers , drinks and chips. Please bring a lawn chair and a salad or dessert to share. This will be rain or shine since they have air conditioning and room. Their address is 184 Buff Cap Rd, Tolland, CT.

RSVP if you plan to attend. BY JUNE 22. To Jane P.

Bring something interesting to display or sell if you want. We do some trunk sales. Don Palmer can help you if you need travel directions. We’ll try to come up with something fun to do.
SAVE this date also. SUNDAY JULY 17. Jane is working on details for a tour to the American Heritage Museum in Hudson, Ma. They have multiple vehicles displayed by era, including the brass era. Check out their web site for more info.
Don’t forget to read the minutes, it’s been awhile since we had any . We welcome suggestions about anything related to the club.
Those that missed the Hancock Fire Dept car show missed a great show. 192 cars, 50/50 paid out $740. Lots of great raffle prizes and the giant flag on the ladder truck, plus great weather and fresh food. Maybe next year.
