Oct 2021 Region Event

Below are pictures taken of several Region Member cars and Plymouths at the Oct 2021 Region Event at the Waters Farm Festival.

The great weather was preceded by an overnight rainfall that made for a mostly soft, muddy field so limited parking put some vehicles out in the road. The Palmer’s Dart with sure grip rear end & new tires struggled at one point in a mud hole created by multiple cars but made it out.

67BarracudaConv

Beautiful 67 Barracuda Convertible got a lucky spot next to the opening/drive into the field and avoided muddy tires.

MintNearPerfect65Barracuda

This near mint perfect 65 Barracuda stayed out on the road and avoided the mud. Even a Mopar battery in this car points to the level of effort the owner makes to keep it near original with low mileage to boot.

RichAndMaryM40Ply

Rich and Mary M. kept their whitewalls clean by turning right on their entrance to the field and managedĀ  a nice solid spot.

MostlyOriginal52PlyBusinessCoupe

This near original 52 Business Coupe was for sale and it’s spot close to the entrance & up against the stone wall helped minimize mud on the tires & fenders.

Mid 60ValiantAndDart

The mid 60’s Dart and Valiant managed to get thru it all and park side by side so people could see all the parts they shared back when Mopar dreamed them up (hubcaps, door handles, windshield trim, etc. that were visible). They also shared mud from years later!

It was a crisp Autumn day with strong breeze to remind everyone that winter cometh.

  1. I was sorry to miss this. I just got the oil pan back on my P12, and I’ve had it around the block but felt a 50 mile drive was just a little adventurous. So far, no one drop of oil!
Some good looking cars there, and I wouldn’t have minded some company. Stay strong.

    1. Combined with the day’s excellent weather, the event should be considered a success given the cars and festivities. Previous rain has impacted the Waters Farm Festival before so it might be best to consider it into any decision (at the last moment) as to whether to attend in future years? Ideally having all the show cars given space on the field would have have it perfect.
