PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE Another Colonial member has been lost. Jerry Adams passed away shortly after Bruce Nichols. He and his wife Roberta loved the annual Holiday party at the Palmer’s. Our condolences go out to Roberta and family.

The October meeting at the Waters Farm car show was a big success ,partly because it was in memory of Bruce Nichols. Judi Nichols faithfully manned the registration desk. Don Palmer has put pictures and comments on the club web site . (address below ) Preparations were scaled down because of Bruce’s illness, so only 3 trophies but lots of cars. The Colonial Region has donated $100 to the Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund in Bruce’s memory.

The November tour to the Wright Chicken Farm Restaurant in RI is cancelled and also the annual holiday party at the Palmer’s. Because of so many unvaccinated people wandering around, the officers don’t feel it is safe to meet indoors yet. Vince Ruops wanted to do takeout but was unable to find a suitable place to eat safely. Sooo, that means we have no meetings scheduled until February. If someone wants to take the wheel and plan a Zoom meeting in early December, please let me know.

We are due to vote for officers in December which is a big problem . Judi Nichols has resigned as treasurer. That was anticipated but will not be easy to replace. Nominations are due by the end of November. If you would like to take the job or nominate a candidate, please let me know ASAP. Other open spots:: newsletter editor, treasurer, membership and activity persons. We think we can skip Vice President, since Jane Palmer has volunteered to cover that.

Don Palmer wants to know if anyone in the club is interested in the Sun Tester. He would rather not sell it but keep it in the club. Please contact him if you want it. Judy

  1. I would like to sell a 1946 Plymouth coup.
My wife’s dad made it a quasi hot rod. I think it’s real cool and it runs and sounds great.
I have it stored out in CA.
I reckon this may be a long process, but I have some time.
Do you think you can help me get the old girl into loving hands?
    Thanks in advance

    1. Please provide some additional information such as a contact number, pictures of interior/exterior/under hood, & list of modifications from original such as engine, interior, electrical, etc. and I will post the 46 under the “For Sale” category of the Colonial Region Website.

      Thanks
