For Sale Plymouth Parts

For Sale Plymouth Parts is a collection of mostly Plymouth parts for sale in Minn. described by a large number of photos. I spotted items from the early 30’s up thru the 50’s. They seem to range from hubcaps to blinker switches to brake cylinders to headlight lenses to manuals, etc. What they didn’t contain was large mechanical items like engines or transmissions.

So if you are willing to look over a large number of photos and know what you are looking for by appearance here is your chance. The owner expressed a willingness to sell some as a lot.

There are a lot of 1950’s obvious items.

  1. Aloha,
I have a 1940 Plymouth P10 deluxe woody wagon which is in need of a speedometer in good working order. My original spoeedometer is headed for the big speedometer heaven in the sky. The face with the color indicating speed range and hash marks plus the circular speed indicator are cracked or bent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as there aren’t any sources of parts for these old girls on the islands. The only game in town is a company out of Farmington, New York, and his prices are exorbitant.

    1. Lots of sunlight with UV working on that speedometer at times??— Maybe restore yours using the following info???

I see an advertisement by Scott Young of 332 Devon Dr. in San Rafael, Calif. 94903 Phone 415-472-5126. His advertisement reads “1940 Ply Speedometer & Instrument Dash Glass, 3 piece set, 3 colors in stock. Silk Screened & look like new originals”….etc.

Maybe give that number a call & get details? Maybe a 1 piece set also offered?

I’m a 33 Ply-35 Dodge guy so this has never been on my radar & our Region’s only 40 Plymouth car was recently totaled & scrapped so I can’t inspect one to see what’s involved.

The National Plymouth Owner’s Club has an advertisement section in it’s “Bulletin” which is issued several times a year with a fat advertising section for parts available. That is where I see this advertisement in “Bulletin 378” dated 4th quarter of 2023. If you know a member of the Plymouth Owner’s Club or you are one yourself then this info will be self explanatory.

      Good Luck Don
