Nov 2021 Event

The pictures below are from a 7 Nov 2021 South Windsor, Ct. event ” Cars and Coffee”; complete with many sunny picnic tables & nice solid grounds.  The panorama view of the roughly 25 cars shows that a bright sunny day can get out the vehicles no matter what time of year:

Look for the bright red 68 Road Runner complete with road runner wheel chock in this similar view:

Click on this next view to see just how gorgeous the paint was on that really clean, mostly original, 68 RR:

Our 30’s Chrysler Plymouth Service Vehicle was directed to a spot at the front with the Coffee Shop Owner’s 30’s Chev. pickup- too good to take a picture of next to our tired Service vehicle with patina/chipped paint job:

At least the freshly rebuilt flathead (every 20 years whether it needs it or not) gave it a passing grade….but the muddy tires & bed full of firewood didn’t help any.

These are the type of events/weather where you run into other active local Plymouth owners at a time when many have put their prizes into storage. That 68 RR was an example of a car you could look at for a long time and still find something of interest…..like the optional front seat shoulder harness originally purchased with the car (my last discovery of the day).
