The reports from our club gathering at the Thompson Motor Speedway in May are positive , just like last year. The antique Plymouths got to take several turns around the track , looked good in the car show, toured the garages, even won prizes, and had a fantastic lunch. It was enjoyed by those attending and envied by those who missed the event. Good pictures and notes are on our web site. Take a look at www.plymouthcarclub.com.
On June 25th, we will celebrate as Jim and Qin accept some colorful wedding vows at some point, if neither chickens out. The day is “cook-out casual” at the Dunlea home , 57 High St. Bellingham, Mass. 02019 Jim.Dunlea@assisolutions.com Arrival time is 11:30 -12:00. This is a catered picnic and must have reservations. Please let Jim know if you are coming, NO LATER THAN TUESDAY JUNE 13TH. Call or e-mail. (617)-653-6412. Rain will necessitate plan changes. They request NO gifts. Jim expects old cars, tractors and other cool stuff for a fun afternoon.
FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!!!! It would be really nice if a club member might be able to put together a printable newsletter that was more interesting than plain pages. Don Palmer’s monthly reports have helped with that , but are not always available. If you go on the web site, you can get all the info piecemeal. How nice it would be to have it in newsletter form. It would also be great to incorporate for sale items. For people without internet, we might even have to increase the dues to cover mailings.
Don Palmer would appreciate your antique car photos and any “for sale” items for the web site.

The July meeting will be Sunday July 16th at the New England Air Museum. 36 Perimeter Rd, Windsor Locks, CT. 06096. We will meet at Sophia’s Pizza Restaurant at 11:30. Museum is $10.50 per person. Jane Palmer is contact person and will need to know ahead if you are coming. More details to follow.
