Weather was on everyone’s mind….it appears Bob & Sue Douglas have stolen our winter & snow and taken it to the Cape leaving us with nothing. A motion to get Bob & Sue to move back however did not surface.

The Secretary’s Report was accepted with modification to the May event date.  Judi Nichols indicated 3 more have sent in membership dues & 7 remain past due. While on the subject of money….Natalie won the 50/50.

Off we went to the 1:00 luncheon at the IOKA Maple Farm and it was very busy with us parking in the rear for the trek up to the buildings including group pictures with no snow on the ground and even short sleeves for some:

After some fine food we toured and got a 1 on 1 description of the gigantic fully automated Stainless Steel Maple Syrup Processor:

We returned to the Whitman’s & Bruce N. provided info on the May 14 Thompson Speedway event &  handout with details of the day. He stressed the importance of calling him by May 8 to insure you & your car were included in plans.

Judy discussed a low effort, non judging, show & parade, and possible judging demonstration for Chrysler Products at the Plymouth, Mass. Town Anniversary in Yr 2020. Judy has been contacted by the town planners and they are looking to fit us in to their multiple events similar to the one we had there in 1993. See their website for more info:

The next meeting will be at the Thompson Speedway on Saturday May 14 at 9.30 since April remains open.  The  meeting will start at guest services. The Crooks will host the June 12 meeting in Little Compton, RI.  On July 17, we have planned to have a picnic at the Colt State Park in Bristol, RI.  August 21 is a tentatively planned event for a tour of the theater in Millbury, MA.  Our weekend at the Cape will be in September 16-18th. Bruce indicated the Spirit of Shrewsbury Sept 25th Parade is open to the Region for car line up at 12:00 with show kickoff at 1:00. More on this parade at :
